Do I need Stripe?

No, you don't need Stripe. You can run your booking page with cash-only payments and start taking bookings straight away.

If you'd like to accept card payments online, Book4 uses Stripe Connect. During the Payments step of setup you'll be guided through Stripe's onboarding — it takes a few minutes.

Fees: when a customer pays through your Book4 booking page, the combined fee is 3.5 % + 20p per transaction. There's no extra monthly charge for using Stripe — it's included in your platform subscription.

You can always switch between cash-only and Stripe later from your dashboard settings.
